A dachshund has won the hearts of many online after a funny video showed just how clingy she is to her owner.

In the video, shared by Rowlan who posts under the handle @wildideaswithbrian on Instagram, the owner explains why he prefers dogs to cats. In the video, the owner says that cats don’t have any regard for personal space and that he prefers a pet that has better manners.

However, the dachshund, named Bonnie, does the exact opposite of giving the owner any space.

Bonnie climbs on the owner, burrows into the collar of his shirt, and wiggles her way inside the clothing of the owner. At one point, the paw of the dachshund almost touches the face of the owner as she gets comfortable under the shirt of the owner. In the video, the dachshund also sticks her head out of the collar of the shirt of the owner while the owner continues to speak as if nothing is wrong.

It is, of course, intended as a joke, particularly because Bonnie never gives him a moment's peace throughout the video. Rowlan also sings the praises of dogs, who are "obedient, well-behaved creatures," but gives Bonnie a snack and allows her to snuggle back into his shirt.

The video was an instant internet sensation, with millions of views and hundreds of thousands of likes. People also shared their own experiences with their pets, who also seem to enjoy being as close as possible to their owners.

From dogs and cats to chickens and even snakes, internet users shared their experiences with their pets, who do not seem to understand the idea of personal space.

Ultimately, the video is not really about dogs vs. cats. It is just a sweet and funny reminder that, for some pets, the best way to show their owners they care is to stick very, very close.
