The ‘Love Story’ singer and her love for her feline pals haven’t been hidden from anyone. Those who know Swift know that she has named her cats after popular television show characters. One of her Scottish Folds is named Meredith Grey after the lead of ‘Grey's Anatomy’, while the other is called Olivia Benson, inspired by the star cop character of ‘Law & Order: SVU’. Last but not least, her Ragdoll cat is named Benjamin Button after ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’.
Mariska Hargitay’s cat Karma
Mariska Hargitay, aka Olivia Benson from ‘Law & Order: SVU,’ returned the favor to Taylor by naming her cat after a Swift song. When she introduced her feline pal to the world in November 2023 via Instagram, she wrote, “Karma is a Cat @taylorswift Meet Karma. My Cat.”

Actress Katherine Heigl named her pet pooch after her ‘Nut Job’ Liam Neeson. In July 2025, the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ alum shared a video with her little bundle of joy and wrote, “Oh, Liam Neeson, the things we do,” and added, “...Ready for It?” by Taylor Swift. “That’s my dog’s name. I’m not talking about the real Liam Neeson. That would be weird, especially for [my husband] Josh Kelley.”
