Sharon Stone's pup Mo
American actress Sharon Stone brought a new bundle of joy home in 2026. She adopted a rescued puppy, whom she now adorably calls Mo. And the story of Shron and Mo’s meet-cute is all things adorable and heart-warming.
How Sharon Stone met her tiny companion
Sharen Stone met Mo in L.A. at the Astra Awards, by the Hollywood Creative Alliance, which honors entertainment industry professionals. The actress received the Timeless Award, one of the honorary prizes. While she was making her way to the ceremony, she potted a cute little pup on the red carpet. And it was like love at first sight as the 8-week-old pit bull mix puppy melted Stone in no time.
Mo’s presence on the red carpet was no coincidence. She was brought there by the national nonprofit Petco Love, the awards' charitable partner. She walked the red carpet with two of her reduced siblings.
Circling back to Stone and MO’s love story. The actress was in awe of the pup’s cuteness and posed with her for a couple of pictures. Later, she thought, the pitbull mix would be a perfect companion for her youngest son, Quinn. She quickly made a video call to her son to know if he would want to welcome a pip in the family. As soon as she got a green light from him, Sharon told the foundation she was ready to take the 8-month-old home.
"She's going to have a great life because she's going to be my youngest son's dog. And my youngest son is absolutely thrilled about it," Stone told Petco Love.
"We love our adorable new puppy. She's brought a lot of joy, cuddles & fun into our home," Stone said to PEOPLE.
